Dobro is a part of the "PGC Presents" line, a curated selection of games which are harder to find, recommended by us, or are the releases of a fellow independent publishing company or designer that we respect. "PGC Presents" is a project to boost the signal of other creators that we love to support and think others might as well.

Dobro is a release from Brazilian publisher, Grok Games. Portland Game Collective has nothing to do with the release or production of this game. We stock this game in an effort to help a fellow indie game company, Grok Games, get their releases to a wider audience.

Description from Boardgamegeek:

Dobro is a fast and fun climbing game where you have 3 options on your turn:
- Play a card higher than the value in play.
- Play two identical cards, doubling their value.
- Or play a card with the same value in play to double it!

If you can't play any cards… That's bad! Put all cards in play in your Score Pile and start a new climbing hand.

When a player plays the last card in their hand, the round ends and players receive points based on the cards in the Score Pile. The less cards you have, the more points you get!

So, take advantage of the Special Cards, using them at the right time in order to change the direction of play, skip your turn or even play any number to avoid getting cards.

At the end of three rounds, the player with the highest score wins the game!
