Trickarus ("PGC Presents" Title)
Trickarus is a part of the "PGC Presents" line, a curated selection of games which are harder to find, recommended by us, or are the releases of a fellow independent publishing company or designer that we respect. "PGC Presents" is a project to boost the signal of other creators that we love to support and think others might as well.
Trickarus is a release from Japan and authored by Bajir Cannon. Portland Game Collective has nothing to do with the release or production of this title. We stock this title in an effort to help a fellow indie game designer get their releases to a wider audience.

Icarus and his friends have crafted handmade wings. Day and night, jubilant with their newfound freedom, they fly higher and higher. Trickarus is a trick-taking game of flying, flipping, and trying not to soar into the hot, hot sun. The game can be played in either competitive or cooperative modes.
The winner of each trick moves to the next open space above them unless they fly into the sun at the top most space of the board, in which case they will plummet to below the bottom-most player.
Every card has two different ranks (who's sum always adds up to 10) which may alternate if a 5 rank card is played to the trick. With rules simple enough to teach in a couple minutes, Trickarus is easy enough for those unfamiliar with trick-taking games to start playing in minutes while also offering enough challenge for more experienced trick-takers to experiment with different strategies.
**Trickarus features rules in both English and Japanese.
