Odyssey (“PGC Presents” Title)

Odyssey is a part of the "PGC Presents" line, a curated selection of games which are harder to find, recommended by us, or are the releases of a fellow independent publishing company or designers that we respect. "PGC Presents" is a project to help boost the signal of other creators that we love to support and think others might as well.

Odyssey is a release from Korean game designer, Geonil. Portland Game Collective has nothing to do with the release or production of this game. We stock this game in an effort to help a fellow indie game designer, Geonil, get their releases to a wider audience.

Odyssey sends players on a perilous journey across the Mediterranean as soldiers trying to return home after the Trojan War. Guided (and often hindered) by the whims of the gods, players must earn offerings and navigate divine favor carefully. Too much pride or neglecting rituals risks invoking the gods’ wrath, delaying the voyage back to Ithaca.

Odyssey is a trick-taking game where players can play not only from their hand but also from a shared field of cards. Winning exactly the right number of tricks allows players to advance their ship along the board, with progress tied to the offerings they've gathered. Strategic timing, risk management, and the gods’ unpredictable influence shape a tense race to be the first to return home.
